When I asked Bill Stewart if there was a place I could go to take a picture of the stadium, he showed me two vantage points. This one was the best but I was shocked to see the turf a solid white! At first glance, I thought that some kind of tarp had been put on the field but then I realized that the snow had not melted in Morgantown like it had in Ravenswood! I like the effect anyway and this image will hold a special place in my series "West Virginia University in Winter." If you check previous posts, you'll see the first two portraits in the series "Woodburn Hall in Winter" and "Woodburn Circle in Winter."
