Don't String Us Along!!

When the diplomas are handed out and the speakers have spoken..what's left? FUN!! And that's just what these Ravenswood High Graduates had at the conclusion of their graduation ceremony! I was "ringside" and lucky enough to be up close and personal when the real action began!

We had the honor of photographing all the students in Kayla's School of Dance recently. What a great time we had...ages 4 to 12! Here's only one sample.

The Kiss Says It All!

It's fitting that we end our recent wedding posts with this wonderful image of the father of the bride giving his little girl away on her wedding day! The look of complete serenity on our bride's face leads us to believe that her father's kiss causes her to remember, if only briefly, many past father/daughter moments! This image is a must for any wedding album..

Backlit Dance

The bride and groom share a tender moment and the first dance as husband and wife in this reception candid. It was backlit by my assistant as we moved around the dance floor with the bridal couple!

Tournament of Roses!

I just love this shot! It shows just how happy the newly-married couple is and how ready their guests are to celebrate that happiness! Throwing rose petals is a great idea and very "environment friendly!"

Bridal Portrait

Here's another lovely portrait of our bride! I love how the colors in the background contrast nicely with our subject and serve to push her forward in the image! More to come....

Lookin' Back!

Love Can Build A Bridge!

The covered bridge at Cedar Lakes served as a gorgeous backdrop for our weekend bridal couple! I love how the backlight rims them and causes them to separate from the background. It was a gorgeous wedding...so stay tuned for many more images from this weekend celebration of love!

Once Upon A Dream

We were honored to photograph Wirt County's Prom this past weekend! What a gorgeous setting for the biggest dance of the season! They had it at Woodridge Plantation and the decorations were perfect! We thought you'd enjoy seeing some of the finery.

Beginning of Summer

This wonderful image has a definite summer "feel" to it! The weather was gorgeous on the day of this session and this beautiful young lady's clothes and expression show that summer is just around the corner!

Gone Fishin'

Of all the images we took of this young man, this one is one of my favorites! Although there's no water, in this 2-year-old's imagination, there certainly IS as you watch the absolute contentment in his face! A real winner!

Ripley High School Prom!

We were honored to photograph Ripley High School's prom! I'm sorry this blog has been late but we've been extremely busy with trying to finish our regular schedule plus we have a prom in Wirt County in two days!
