This beautiful young lady is a WVU cheerleader-in-training! She figures that you can't begin too early to prepare for something like this...and she's doing a great job! Her shoot was fun and easy because she was such a "natural!" Enjoy....
As promised, here's another one of those bridal images from our mock shoot recently. I love the fluffy clouds, but I had to darken the sky just a bit because of the bright sunlight. I suppose that's what high apertures are for! This one was around f10. Hope you like it!
This is one of the images from our recent mock bridal shoot. Such a beautiful setting and such a beautiful model! It's one of my favorites, among others, and I thought you'd enjoy seeing it! I'll post more from the shoot as time permits. Enjoy!
This little boy was very happy to celebrate his first birthday with all of us! He especially enjoyed the big "1" on his cake...or was it the icing on the bottom of it?! What a precious capture this image is!
Yes, we're deep in the heart of Little League season and I was fortunate enough to capture this image just as this young man's bat was connecting with the ball! It was so much fun reliving Little League memories this past week as I was snapping pictures of these fine young athletes!
Family portrait season is just beginning and this family took advantage of the gorgeous weather to pose for a timeless treasure! The red in their clothing and the lush greenery in the surroundings combined for a beautifully lit heirloom! Enjoy!
I had the opportunity to photograph some budding young soccer stars this weekend and what a treat it was! What struck me about these young athletes was the sheer joy on their faces as they played the game...something you don't see every day in sporting events! Yes, they played to win, but they were happy to be among friends and family as they displayed their talents and it showed!
It's rare these days to get brothers all together in one place! That's just what happened during a senior picture shoot recently so we took advantage of the situation. Only one problem...one brother was missing! We did what we could and came out of it with this timeless image...one that parents will treasure forever!
This high school senior is an avid hunter and fisherman! He also owns his owns business! We took his senior images on a very picturesque farm that offered many possibilities for great outdoor images..what he loves best!
This young couple took time out of their busy schedules to pose for some engagement portraits recently. Their images were amazing and we had a great time creating them! Their happiness is evident and shines through the camera lens!
I suppose you can tell that this senior is an avid WVU fan! I love the feel of this image..it's fun and upbeat and this young lady pulls it off with no difficulty! We dodged raindrops for this shoot and it was worth every minute!
This lighting pattern is one that was used extensively in the 1930s to photograph famous movie stars. The light is centered on the face and then falls off to either side of the subject. Most commonly seen in black and white images, it's very dramatic and beautiful. I love it!
This young lady opted for a relaxing pose and it certainly worked for her! The gentle sweeping lines of her hair framed her face beautifully and created a pleasing feel to the image. I lit the scene with a shoot-through umbrella to the left that added a loop-lighting pattern. Have a great day!
This is the sports poster I did recently for the West Liberty University softball team. I'm pleased with the results as we took the middle picture in the beginnings of a steady drizzle of rain that day! Thank goodness it stopped a couple of hours later and I was able to capture some action shots! Hope you enjoy it!
